Natural stone is particularly recommended for terraces. Unlike wood, stone does not warp or discolor under the effect of heat and sun. It is also a frost-resistant material, so it is not affected by extreme cold or frost cycles. A natural stone deck is therefore resistant all year round and over the long term.

Some natural stones are also known to absorb and retain heat, making them perfect for decks that are particularly exposed to the sun. Others have anti-slip properties, and are thus often recommended around swimming pools to prevent slipping.

Depending on the location and exposure of your terrace, our teams will be able to advise you on the most suitable stone. For example, if your terrace is not very exposed to the sun, we can recommend white marble that will bring a bright touch to your space. This choice of material will not be suitable for a sunny terrace since white marble could be too dazzling. For this type of project, we recommend a darker stone, such as granite.
